The animals are the animate beings who are able to move and able to react to stimulant but not have mind. For more knowns various knowledge about animals of course needed including knowing of foods that commonly eaten by the animals certain.
The animal can be grouped in be some kind of based on the kind of food. There grouped are Herbivore, carnivore, and omnivore.

The herbivores animals are the title for animals that have the kind of food of plants. They ate the plants for her survival. The position of herbivores animals is as consumers of the first in the food chains. The characteristics of herbivores animals that is four legged, warm blooded, life on the mainland, mammals and give birth. Kind of animals that including into the kind of animals is the Cows, the Goats, the Horse, the Grasshopper and Ass.

The carnivore animals are the title for animals that like ate the other animals. These animals ate the other animals to for her survival. Sometimes the human can be preyed by these animal. Because also the animal carnivores also known as the predators for animal herbivores. these animals also are called the wild beasts. the characteristic of carnivore that is have fangs which serves to tear meat, has sharp nails, having speed ran to hunt for its prey, and carnivore also there who have can or the poison which aims to undermine prey. That included a carnivore is the tiger, the lion, the civet, and the wolf.

The omnivores animals are eating both plants and other animals.  The characteristic of omnivores that is eat plants and meat, has a digestive complex, has sharp teeth on the front, and have teeth that are flat on the back. The included of animal omnivore that is the fig, chicken, and duck.

So, the animals can be grouped based on the food that is herbivore, carnivore and omnivore. And also the animals has the characteristic.
